The goal of the Ecosystem for Biophotonics Innovation program is to leverage the research and technology created by a National Science Foundation (NSF) Science and Technology Center, the Center for Biophotonics Science and Technology (CBST), headquartered at the University of California Davis. Towards this goal, we have formalized a research, education, and commercialization alliance among:
- CBST and its successor organization, Center for Biophotonics, UC Davis
- Sacramento Regional Technology Alliance (SARTA) MedStart
- 3rd party investors from industry, foundations, economic development organizations
- a variety of other academic and commercial partners.
